Cougar makes a humming noise, his eyes closed. "Will debate," he says, even if he plans to go nowhere except for right here in Jake's arms. There is no other place he wants to be, not at all. "Tired, too," he sighs and curls in closer to Jake, like he can somehow forget how little he's slept. "When they come screaming in, I want you to remember kids were your idea," he sleepily mumbles against the warm skin of Jake's pec.
