She won't be able to do this as much soon, so she wants to take advantage of it while she can. "Fine," she grumbles, wrinkling her nose at the thought of telling her parents. She thinks they'll be happy that she's leaving the army, which isn't something she thinks she's ready to cope with.

She pauses, though, giving him a curious look. "Is this what you want? I want to make sure I know what you want from me."
